The Java Developers Day (JDD) takes place annually in October in Krakow. In 2008, more than 350 people participated in the conference. Topics like Project Development, Development Methods in Java, the latest Java Technologies were discussed from a practical viewpoint.
Topics from other specialised areas of software development were introduced, such as Spring, Jboss, EJB, AJAX, OSGi, Mobile Technologies and others.
Internationally renowned speakers presented the latest trends in JAVA Technologies:

Bill Burke, Jboss, Co-Author of "Enterprise Java Beans 3.0“

The audience had the opportunity to choose between two lectures held simultaneously. The lectures covered a variety of subjects and were presented by international and Polish specialists.
The conference was opened by Ted Neward, an independent Consultant, who works for several companies. Ted participates in conferences like "No Fluff“, "Just Stuff“ and "Javapolis". His primary domains are Java, dotNet, XML Technologies.
Ted is the Author of several books. His best-known is "Effective Enterprise Java“.
Neal Ford, a software architect from Thought Works, was the highlight at the end of the conference. Neal has also written several books, among them, "Jbuilder 3 Unleashed“ and "Art of Java Web Development“.
Neal is an expert in end-to-end Development and in the production of enterprise applications.
